The Southern sector of the Kruger National Park is part of the original Sabie Game reserve that was proclaimed a Wildlife Reserve in 1898 by the president at the time Paul Kruger. The majestic Seringa, Marula, tamboti and wild olive trees can be seen all over this region White rhino, wild dog and leopard are common to this area.
The Acacia trees provide shelter and food to giraffe and elephant, while the Crocodile River provides late afternoon / evening viewing of elephants, waterbuck, impala and the elusive predators while they drink from the river..
